Cancellation & Return

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase based on the following conditions. A consumer is defined as any individual engaging in a legal transaction for purposes that are mainly unrelated to their commercial or independent professional activity.

To help ensure a smooth return process, please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Return the items in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. If needed, use protective outer packaging. If the original packaging is no longer available, please use appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transport.

Kindly do not return goods with freight collect.

Please note that the above points are not mandatory for the valid exercise of your right to withdrawal.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you, or a third party designated by you (who is not the carrier), takes possession of the last item in your order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Hold My Bike FlexCo, Simmelgasse 1/3/25, 1210 Vienna, Austria, e-mail: info@holdmybike.com) with a clear statement (e.g., via letter or email) of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You can use the provided template withdrawal form, though it is not required.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notice of withdrawal before the 14-day period ends.

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (except for additional costs incurred if you chose a different delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). This refund will be processed without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal from the contract. We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed upon with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or return the goods to us without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day you notified us of the cancellation. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the end of the 14-day period.

You are responsible for covering the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if the reduction in value is due to handling beyond what is necessary to examine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for goods that are custom-made or clearly personalised according to the consumer’s specifications.

Additionally, the right of withdrawal expires early for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, once the seal has been removed after delivery.
