His journey has led him to become co-owner and CEO of collectingsystems, the european company that owns the state-of-the-art production facilities where all Hold My Bike products are crafted. This vertical integration means that Hold My Bike controls the entire supply chain, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Kai Fields
Kai is our tech-savvy strategist, with a strong foundation in mechatronics and business. His career spans roles in technical sales, digital marketing, and project management, where he’s excelled in building successful partnerships. Kai’s expertise is instrumental in shaping our sales strategies and forging collaborations that bring Hold My Bike to a wider audience.
Michael Salomon
Michael is the creative mind behind Hold My Bike’s visual identity. With a background in media technology and over a decade of experience in video production and post-production, Michael has worked with top brands, including Bitpanda and Virtue Austria. Michael is also co-owner of the Frames.Network agency and founder & owner of the virtual production company Frames.Studio. His eye for detail and passion for design ensure that our products are not just functional, but also beautifully crafted.
How Hold My Bike Was Born
The idea for Hold My Bike came to us during a cycling training camp in the breathtaking landscapes of Mallorca in March 2023. As avid cyclists, we, the three co-founders, found ourselves constantly frustrated by the lack of innovation in the field of high-quality, aesthetically pleasing storage solutions for our bikes. We knew we weren’t alone in this; whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a weekend rider, your bike is more than just a mode of transport—it’s a part of your lifestyle.
It was during one of our rides, winding through the coastal roads, that we started discussing how our bikes deserve better. We envisioned storage solutions that didn’t just hang them up, not even close to being horizontally aligned, but showcased them—turning them into centerpieces in our homes. We realised that with our combined expertise—Mathias in product development, Kai in sales and partnerships, and Michael in marketing and design—we had the perfect team to bring this vision to life.
Hold My Bike was born out of our shared passion for cycling and our commitment to creating something better, more innovative and customisable. We set out to design products that blend functionality with style, offering cyclists storage solutions that are as beautifully crafted as they are practical.
